Measures for the Implementation of "Credit Point" System Management for International Students Studying in China of Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College

To better maintain the universitys normal teaching order, living order and management order, strengthen the development of school spirit and discipline, enhance international students awareness of abiding by rules and regulations, and improve the classified management and precise guidance for international students, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Detailed Rules for the Disciplinary Sanctions of International Students of Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College and in light of the actual situation of international students in the university.


Article 1 Composition of “Credit Points

Credit points mainly involve documenting and recording international students various behavioral performances during their study at the university, and quantifying these performances into points. The assessment scope mainly includes international studentsperformance in terms of study discipline, course assessment discipline and daily management discipline, as well as their campus civilized behavior, traffic behavior, accommodation behavior and online behavior.

Article 2 Calculation of Credit Points

A basic score of 30 points is given to international students when they enroll. During their study at the university, their actual performance shall be recorded in accordance with the detailed rules for point calculation, based on facts and guided by laws. If an international student commits a disciplinary violation, in addition to being disciplined in accordance with the Detailed Rules for the Disciplinary Sanctions of International Students of Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College, the corresponding points shall be deducted from their credit points. If an international student wins an award or performs a good deed, the corresponding points shall be added to their credit points.

Article 4 Application of the “Credit Point” System

The “Credit Point” system implements real-time recording and real-time calculation, with points deducted based on the severity of the circumstances. When the accumulated deduction reaches 20 points, the college will issue an early warning; when the accumulated deduction reaches 30 points, the college will recommend advisory withdrawal of the student. Meanwhile, the college will truthfully report the student’s actual performance and disciplinary violations to the exit-entry administration authorities and apply for the cancellation of the student’s study visa. The student’s real-time points shall serve as an important reference for daily management matters concerning international students, such as selection for awards, evaluation of excellence, and activity applications.


Article 5 Recording of the “Credit Point”System

All on-campus units and departments involved in international student management may record the behaviors of international students. Each unit shall fill out the Record Form for Credit Points of International Students Studying in China of Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College and submit it to the School of International Education. The School of International Education shall be responsible for the collection, verification, registration, and handling of international students’ “Credit Points”.


Article 6 Others

The detailed rules for the “Credit Point” system for international students studying in China shall be formulated and interpreted by the School of International Education. For disciplinary violations or bonus-eligible behaviors of international students that are not covered in these detailed rules and are deemed necessary to be added, such additions shall be decided after discussion by the School of International Education.
